Position Description

We are seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to oversee the company’s enterprise compute and storage strategies. This role involves planning, budgeting, and procuring the appropriate infrastructures for various platforms and applications. You will define the roadmaps for each specific environment within the enterprise infrastructure, which includes the server farm, on-prem cloud, storage systems, AI environment, and backup and archive environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, you will:

• Define the enterprise infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Work on requirements gathering, capacity planning, and workload forecasting.
• Analyze and optimize production applications.
• Handle infrastructure budgeting and financials.
• Architect infrastructure solutions.
• Plan, execute, and manage hardware and appliances procurement projects.
• Collaborate with operation teams on resource utilization and chargeback modules.
• Work with leading OEMs and technology providers.
• Define and drive PoC initiatives with end-users and technical teams.
• Collaborate with multiple teams.
• Stay updated on new technology trends in CPU, GPU, cloud solutions, and storage services.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep knowledge in cloud-native applications and container orchestration solutions, OpenShift, DevOps, VMware, MLOps, CI/CD, and storage systems including NFS, SMB, iSCSI, and S3 protocols.
• 15 years of experience in infrastructure budgeting and TCO/ROI calculations, backup and archive solutions, data centers, and facility requirements.
