Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer/Data Scientist to join the Drilling and Workover Systems Division (DWSD) within the Petroleum Engineering Applications Services Department. DWSD supports various Drilling and Workover departments within Upstream, providing advanced solutions for major upstream domains such as scheduling, budgeting, well construction, and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Developer/Data Scientist, you will:

• Manage the software development life cycle process and requirements gathering.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Drilling and Workover applications processes.
• Develop systems to automate Drilling and Workover processes using Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Research and develop innovative solutions for Drilling and Workover support organizations.
• Align with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, proposing and implementing solutions accordingly.
• Mentor junior personnel and provide consultancy in business intelligence, machine learning, and data science technologies.
• Lead development projects to tackle challenges faced by Aramco Upstream professionals.
• Enhance the UI/UX of in-house applications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through innovative solutions.
• Publish technical findings in journal articles and present at intra-company meetings.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field from a recognized and approved program.
• A minimum of five years of experience in Computer Science, including at least two years in Data Science.
• Experience in Angular Application Development (Web front-end development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Angular 11+, and writing unit test-cases in JasmineJS and e2e frameworks).
• Experience in Java Web Development, particularly Middle-tier development using the Pivotal Spring framework with MVC software architecture.
