Job Overview:
The Strategy & Market Specialist role at Aramco offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives in the chemical business. As part of the IK Liquids to Chemicals Development team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategy for producing, shipping, and marketing low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia. Your responsibilities will include reviewing the business strategy, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for expansion and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a "Strategy Advisor" for the Liquids-to-Chemicals (LTC) program, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the LTC Business & Project Development Department.
- Offer commercial and technical expertise in executing downstream strategy, including evaluating strategic options, identifying tradeoffs, and developing implementation plans.
- Lead the development and updating of LTC's strategy in collaboration with other subject-matter experts.
- Generate and propose strategic options supported by thorough analysis, including scenario planning.
- Originate, organize, and implement management-agreed studies and investigations into planning and program implementation.
- Provide expert support to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the LTC program.
- Mentor, train, and develop less-senior professionals in strategy development and implementation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely-related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in strategy development, strategic planning, and scenario planning in the oil, gas, and/or petrochemicals industry, preferably in technical, operational, commercial, and strategic roles.
